Hook: 3.5 mm crochet hook

Tapestry Needle for sewing

dc = double crochet

Sole:

Note: Make 2

1. Ch 12.

2. Round 1: 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 7 ch, hdc in next 2 ch, 5 hdc in last ch. Now working on the opposite side of the chain, hdc in next 2 ch, sc in next 7 ch, 2 sc in last ch. (26 sts)

3. Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in first st, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 7 sts, 2 sc in next 2 sts, hdc in next 3 sts, 2 hdc in each of the next 2 sts, hdc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next 2 sts, sc in last 7 sts, sl st to join. (34 sts)

4. Round 3: Ch 1, sc in first 2 sts, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 7 sts, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts, 2 hdc in next 2 sts, hdc in next 3 sts, 2 hdc in next 2 sts, hdc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 7 sts, sl st to join. (42 sts)

Upper Part:

1. Round 1: Attach the yarn to the sole. Ch 1, sc in each st around. (42 sts)

2. Round 2: Ch 1, sc in first 8 sts, hdc in next 7 sts, dc in next 10 sts, hdc in next 7 sts, sc in remaining sts. Sl st to join. (42 sts)

3. Round 3: Ch 1, sc in first 8 sts, hdc in next 7 sts, dc2tog over next 10 sts, hdc in next 7 sts, sc in remaining sts, sl st to join. (32 sts)

Straps and Finishing:

1. Ch 18, sl st back along each ch for strap.

2. Attach strap to opposite side of the shoe by slip stitching.

Flower (Optional):

1. Magic Ring, ch 1, 10 sc into the ring, pull tight, sl st to join.

2. Petals: (Ch 2, 2 dc in next st, ch 2, sl st in same st) around in each st. 

Fasten off and sew to the side of the shoe.
